The price index of the Chemicals group showed 0.2% increase as compared to the previous week and amounted to 8 362.98. This slight growth can be explained by the fact that prices of main commodities of the group have remained unchanged at its previous week's level.
The price index of the Constructional materials group decreased 1.58% as compared to the previous week and stood at 2 449.60. This fall is a consequence of price adjustment in the group (main grades of cement), caused by the end of the month. The price-weighted index of the group increased 0.04% and amounted to 2 407.44. Slight increase of the index resulted from the fact that drop in prices on main grades of cement was compensated by the rise in trading volume of the more expensive cement grades, in particular CEM II / A 42.5 H.
