The price index of the Chemicals group showed a slight increase of 0.03% as compared to the previous week and amounted to 8 373.89. This fact can be explained by the absence of change in the prices of commodities, traded in the group.
The price index of the Constructional materials group decreased 0.94% as compared to the previous week and stood at 2 397.96. This slight drop was caused by the adjustment of prices of the main grades of cement. The price-weighted index of the group increased 0.15% and amounted to 2 349.46. This growth resulted from the fact that the share of expensive cement grades increased in the overall trading volume of the group.
