Consolidated summary of October 2009 commodity trading results.
In October 2009 the Exchange registered 140 transactions, 79.5 thousand tons of goods worth approximately 402 million roubles (61.8 percent higher than figures for the previous month) were sold.
Fertilizers trading in Chemicals group resulted in over 70 thousand tons of fertilizers (twice as much as September results) worth approximately 381.5 million roubles, and 105 deals. The price index of the group shed 12.95 percent versus September and stood at 7 270.81 points.
Trading in Constructional materials group resulted in 9.5 thousand tons of goods worth approximately 20.1 million roubles, and 35 deals. The price index of cement lost 4.49 percent as compared to September and stood at 2 206.26 points. The price-weighted index of cement dropped 4.42 percent to 2 129.28 points.
