Trading results for 1st half of April: increase in cement trading activity.
According to trading results, activity in the exchange cement market (Constructional materials group) grew during the first half of April.
The Moscow Stock Exchange (MSE) has summed up its trading results in the Commodity market Section for the first half of April 2009. A total of 122 transactions were registered, about 51.5 thousand tons of goods worth 196.7 mln rubles were sold.
Fertilizers trading in Chemicals group resulted in over 9 thousand tons of fertilizers worth approximately 108.7 mln rubles, and 53 deals. The price index of the group decreased 1.1% versus March and estimated 10 058.29.
Prices for selected fertilizers:
- Diammophoska 12 800 rubles/ton (- 0.39% as compared to March)
- Nitrogen-phosphate-potash granular fertilizer 9 390 rubles/ton (- 2.8%)
- Ammophos 13 027.9 rubles/ton (- 0.93%)
- Diammonium phosphate 13 150 rubles/ton (+ 3.2%)
- Complex liquid fertilizer 13 000 rubles/ton (no changes)
- Extraction phosphoric acid 14 500 rubles/ton (- 0.43%)
Cement trading in Constructional materials group showed 0.8% increase as compared to March and amounted 1 992.51. A total of 42.5 thousand tons of cement were sold, 69 deals worth over 88 mln rubles were registered.
Prices for main grades of cement:
- CEM I 42.5 H - 2 129.11 rubles/ton (- 19.5% as compared to March)
- CEM II / A-III 42.5 H - 2 983 rubles/ton (+59%)
- CEM II / A-III 32.5 H - 1 786.08 rubles/ton (-0.44%)
