Trading results for 1st half of May: demand for cement up 31%.
The Moscow Stock Exchange (MSE) has summed up its trading results in the Commodity market Section for the first half of May 2009. A total of 161 transactions were registered, about 61 thousand tons of goods worth over 194 mln rubles were sold.
Fertilizers trading in Chemicals group resulted in over 6 thousand tons of fertilizers worth approximately 63.6 mln rubles, and 24 deals. The price index of the group decreased 4.38% versus April and amounted to 9 153.82.
Prices for selected fertilizers:
- Diammophoska 10 600 rubles/ton (- 5.22% as compared to April)
- Nitrogen-phosphate-potash granular fertilizer 8 300 rubles/ton (- 9.75%)
- Ammophos 12 700 rubles/ton (- 1.53%)
- Diammonium phosphate 13 150 rubles/ton (+ 3.2%)
- Complex liquid fertilizer 11 500 rubles/ton (- 3.36)
- Extraction phosphoric acid 14 500 rubles/ton (no changes)
Thanks to cement trading the price index of Constructional materials group showed 7.29% increase as compared to April and amounted to 2 371.87. A total of 55 thousand tons of cement were sold (+ 31% as compared to the 1st half of April), 137 deals worth over 130.5 mln rubles were registered.

- CEM I 42.5 H - 1 911.63 rubles/ton (- 6.39% as compared to April)
- CEM II / A 42.5 H - 2 801.23 rubles/ton (- 6.1%)
- CEM II / A 32.5 H - 1 956.4 rubles/ton (+ 4.74%)
- CEM I 32.5 H - 2 737 rubles/ton (not traded last month)
- CEM II / B 32.5 H - 2 157.4 rubles/ton (- 10.67%)
