MSE reviews September 2009 trading results.
In September 2009 the total volume of trading on the MSE reached 376.2 million roubles.
The volume of securities trading reached 126.3 million roubles, over 10.2 million securities were sold and 128 transactions were registered.
The MSE stock index, used for temporary suspension of trading, increased 10.22% and by the end of the month amounted to 4.971 points.
According to September 2009 commodity trading results, over 49 thousand tons of goods worth approximately 248.2 million roubles were sold and 109 deals were registered.
Fertilizers trading in Chemicals group resulted in 35.6 thousand tons of fertilizers worth approximately 218.2 million roubles, and 66 deals. The price index of the group decreased 0.68% versus August and stood at 8 352.73 points.
Prices for selected fertilizers:
- Ammophos 10 498 roubles/ton (- 0.02% as compared to August)
- Diammophoska 10 612.86 roubles/ton (- 0.71%)
- Nitrogen-phosphate-potash granular fertilizer 8 300 roubles/ton (no changes)
- Complex liquid fertilizer 11 500 roubles/ton (+ 9.52%)
- Ammonium nitrate 4 000 roubles/ton (- 3.61%)
- Extraction phosphoric acid, clarified 14 000 roubles/ton (no changes)
Trading in Constructional materials group resulted in 13.4 thousand tons of goods worth approximately 30 million roubles, and 43 deals. The price index of cement decreased 1.46% as compared to August and stood at 2 310.09 points. The price-weighted index of cement showed a 3.68% drop and stood at 2 227.76 points.

- CEM II / A 32.5 H 2 052.93 roubles/ton (+ 3.09% as compared to August)
- CEM I 42.5 H 2 102.69 roubles/ton (- 4.82%)
- CEM II / A 42.5 H 2 643.22 roubles/ton (- 4.56%)
As a specialized organization, which conducts auctions and tenders for government order placement at the Moscow City Competition Policy Department, the Exchange organized 1 tender on the total amount of 1.2 million roubles.
