MSE reports October 2009 trading results.
In October 2009 the total volume of trading on the MSE reached 572.5 million roubles (1.5 times as much as September results).
The volume of securities trading reached approximately 132 million roubles, over 15.5 million securities were sold and 126 transactions were registered.
The MSE stock index, used for temporary suspension of trading, increased 9.04 percent and by the end of the month amounted to 5.994 points.
According to October 2009 commodity trading results, over 79.5 thousand tons of goods worth approximately 402 million roubles (61.8 percent higher than figures for the previous month) were sold and 140 deals were registered.
Fertilizers trading in Chemicals group resulted in over 70 thousand tons of fertilizers (twice as much as September results) worth approximately 381.5 million roubles, and 105 deals. The price index of the group shed 12.95 percent versus September and stood at 7 270.81 points.
Prices for selected fertilizers:
- Ammophos 9 000 roubles/ton (- 14.27% as compared to September)
- Diammophoska 9 239.17 roubles/ton (- 12.94%)
- Nitrogen-phosphate-potash granular fertilizer 7 005.39 roubles/ton (- 15.6%)
- Complex liquid fertilizer 11 500 roubles/ton (no changes)
- Ammonium nitrate 3 838.60 roubles/ton (- 4.04%)
- Extraction phosphoric acid, clarified 13 937.50 roubles/ton (- 0.45%)
Trading in Constructional materials group resulted in 9.5 thousand tons of goods worth approximately 20.1 million roubles, and 35 deals. The price index of cement lost 4.49 percent as compared to September and stood at 2 206.26 points. The price-weighted index of cement showed a 4.42 percent drop and stood at 2 129.28 points.

- CEM I 42.5 H 2 014.05 roubles/ton (- 4.22%)
