MSE reviews January 2010 trading results
In January 2010 the total volume of trading on the MSE reached 775,3 million roubles.
The volume of securities trading reached approximately 116 million roubles (8,5% percent higher than figures for the previous month) , over 16,7 (+33%) million securities were sold and 49 (+14 %) transactions were registered.
The MSE stock index increased 14,09 percent and by the end of the month amounted to 8.155 points.
According to January 2010 commodity trading results, over 87,5 (+ 6,6%) thousand tons of goods worth approximately 648,1 million roubles (22% percent higher than figures for the previous month) were sold and 87 deals were registered.
Trading in Agricultural products group resulted in 65 tons of goods worth approximately 963,3 thousand roubles.
Fertilizers trading in Chemicals group resulted in over 87,3 thousand tons of fertilizers worth approximately 647,1 million roubles, and 86 deals. The price index of the group increased 17,43% percent versus December 2009 and stood at 8 994.32 points.

- Ammophos 11 261,19 roubles/ton (+ 28.33 % as compared to December)
- Diammophoska 10 500 roubles/ton (+ 16.23 %)
- Nitrogen-phosphate-potash granular fertilizer 8 500 roubles/ton (+ 13.33 %)
- Complex liquid fertilizer 11 500 roubles/ton (+ 15%)
- Ammonium nitrate 5 716.07 roubles/ton (+ 7.31 %)
- Extraction phosphoric acid, clarified 11 500 roubles/ton (+10.84 %)
As a specialized organization, which conducts auctions and tenders for government order placement, the Exchange organized 2 tenders on the total amount of 11.2 million roubles.
